ND man who strangled wife receives 30-year prison termMINOT, N.D. (AP) — The man accused of killing his ex-wife in Berthold earlier this year was sentenced to serve 30 years in prison.
The Minot Daily News says 39-year-old David Hail was sentenced in state district court in Minot on Friday, three days after changing his plea to guilty on a murder charge.
Hail was accused of strangling 44-year-old Noreen Hail during a domestic dispute on Feb. 28.
He must serve at least 85 percent of his sentence before he is eligible for parole.
