ND man gets probation for concealing employment to keep disability insuranceBISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A Glenburn man has been sentenced to six months probation after admitting he concealed his employment from the federal government so his disability insurance would not be affected.
David Zeltinger pleaded guilty in federal court to one felony count of making false statements. Authorities say he failed to report that he was working while collecting disability payments.
Court documents show that Zeltinger was employed as a subcontractor for MW Industries in Kenmare from June 2006 to June 2007. The income from that job was allegedly paid to his wife using her Social Security number.
The charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison.
