Schultz’s TV show posts best numbers everEd Schultz’s television program “The Ed Show” had its best month ever in August, according to an MSNBC news release reporting on data from Nielson Media Research.
The former Fargo-Moorhead radio talk-show host drew 176,000 of 25- to 54-year-olds, beating CNN by 52 percent (176,000 vs. 116,000), the release states. “The Ed Show” also outstripped CNN in total audience by 43 percent among (623,000 vs. 437,000), according to the release.
Schultz made headlines recently when the New York Post reported that he “had a meltdown in the network’s 30 Rock newsroom, shouting at staff, ‘I’m going to torch this (expletive) place.’ ”
