Severe weather warnings for Cass County, Fargo, West Fargo residents available through Code RedFARGO – Cass County, Fargo and West Fargo residents now have the option of receiving severe weather warnings by phone through a new Code Red alert system option.
The new weather warning option will call residents to warn them of severe storms including possible tornadoes and flash flooding, according to a news release from the city of Fargo.
Those already registered for Code Red will need to sign up for the new option.
To sign up, go to www.casscountynd.gov and click on Emergency Management.
Those unable to sign up through the Internet can call (701) 476-4068.
The option also is expected to be available soon for Moorhead and Clay County residents.
