Gilby, N.D., bank robbery suspects to pleadGRAND FORKS — Two people charged in an armed holdup of a Gilby bank say they will plead guilty in federal court.
William Collins of Nashville, Tenn., and Debra Jensen of Grand Forks have filed change-of-plea notices. Both are scheduled for hearings Tuesday morning.
Authorities say Jensen bought a shotgun that was used by Collins and another man to threaten a teller in the May 2009 robbery.
Prosecutors say one of the men held a sawed-off shotgun to the teller's head while another man took more than $50,000 from the bank vault and a teller drawer.
A judge earlier ruled William Patterson of Grand Forks incompetent to stand trial for his role in the robbery.
