GFMEDC narrows list of candidates for presidentThe Greater Fargo Moorhead Economic Development Corp. search committee has narrowed its list of candidates for a new president.
Michael Dalby, president and CEO of One Southern Indiana, a chamber of commerce and economic development organization in New Albany, Ind., and Kevin McKinnon, Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development business development director, are finalists for the position.
The GFMEDC search committee narrowed down its candidate pool from five prospects today.
The other contenders were: Fred Hollister, president and CEO of Bay Future Inc., Bay City, Mich.; Martin Vanags, CEO of Normal Economic Development Council, Bloomington, Ill.; and James Petell, University of North Dakota Research Foundation executive director.
Consulting firm, Jorgenson Consulting, has been conducting a nationwide search to replace Brian Walters, who resigned in April to become an executive vice president with the Metro Orlando (Fla.) Economic Development Commission.
