Two injured in crash near tornado damageTYLER, N.D. – Two people were injured about 2 p.m. Sunday in a two-car crash in Richland County near the site of tornado damage.
A Chevy Tahoe driven by Candace Mobraten, 42, of Wahpeton, was northbound on 182nd Avenue near Tyler, said the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.
A Chevy Trailblazer driven by Linda Barina, 51, of Breckenridge, Minn., was heading east on 89th Street.
Both vehicles entered the intersection and collided, sending Mobraten’s vehicle spinning and Barina’s vehicle into the ditch, authorities said.
They were transported to St. Francis Medical Center in Breckenridge with unknown injuries.
Authorities said that area had heavier traffic than usual Sunday due to people checking out the damage from Saturday’s storm.
