Potter brings campaign tour to southeast North DakotaDemocratic-NPL U.S. Senate candidate Tracy Potter will bring his courthouse speaking tour on Sunday to Richland, Sargent and Dickey counties in southeast North Dakota.
Potter is scheduled to speak at the Richland County Courthouse in Wahpeton at 1 p.m., the Sargent County Courthouse in Forman at 3 p.m. and the Dickey County Courthouse in Ellendale at 5 p.m. Each event is free and open to the public.
The courthouse tour – a campaign initiative Potter announced in February – is part of his grass-roots-style approach to the Senate race against GOP candidate Gov. John Hoeven.
“I want them to actually see me, hear me and ask me questions,” Potter said in a campaign statement.
As of July 14, Potter said he had appeared on the steps of 20 of the state’s 53 county courthouses, leaving the northeast and southeast counties for the second half of his tour.
