Four accused of robbing man in station wagonFour people are charged with conspiracy to commit robbery in Cass County District Court, accused of picking up a pedestrian in Fargo on Sunday and holding him down to take about $1 and a pack of cigarettes.
Warren Hines told police that shortly before 11 p.m. he was out walking when a white station wagon pulled up and a passenger asked him if he could help them find a McDonald’s.
Hines said that after he got in, the driver pulled the wagon into an alley near the 1200 block of 10th Street North, where a man put his hand over his mouth, cutting off his breathing. While doing this, the man reached into Hines’ pocket and took the pack of smokes and “a little more than a dollar,” according to court records.
Police stopped a station wagon matching the description, and Hines identified three people inside the vehicle. Arrested were Harvie Granger, 24, of Moorhead, Antione Collier, 18, of Moorhead, and Ruby Finch, 18, of Osage, Minn.
Granger and Finch told police that Salbino Depina, 23, of Fargo, planned the alleged robbery, and she was also arrested.
