Two hospitalized after collision in MoorheadA head-on collision Tuesday night in Moorhead sent two people to the hospital.
The crash was reported at 7:03 p.m. at Main Avenue and Fourth Street.
According to a news release from Moorhead police, their investigation indicated that 24-year-old Nathan Scholle of Fargo was eastbound on Main Avenue into Moorhead when his vehicle crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a vehicle being driven westbound in the right-hand lane by 53-year-old Constance Grondahl of Fargo.
A third vehicle driven by 24-year-old Anita Maye of Moorhead also was hit but received only minor damage.
Scholle had to be extricated from his vehicle by the Moorhead Fire Department. He and Grondahl were taken by F-M Ambulance to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo for treatment of their injuries.
Scholle remained at the hospital Wednesday morning, but a condition report wasn’t available, a spokeswoman said. Grondahl was no longer there.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota State Patrol also responded to the crash.
