Portraits: LuAnn Quaschnick

LuAnn Quaschnick greets patrons as they arrive for Trollwood’s production of “Anything Goes” on Saturday in south Moorhead. Her son, Travis, a senior at Fargo South, plays a passenger in the play. This is their first year at Trollwood since moving back to Fargo a couple years ago. “He saw it last year for the first time and wanted to see if he could get into it, so he went through the auditions and was one of the lucky ones to get picked,” Quaschnick says. “It’s been exciting just to see him on stage and to see the kids and how well they do.” Parents are encouraged to be involved in the productions, and she chose to be an usher for 10 evenings. If Travis is at Trollwood again next year, “I’m sure (I) will be even more involved,” she says. “Most of us just do it just to support the kids. That’s why I’m here.” “Anything Goes” will be performed at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
