Today's Fargo traffic blitz yields 45 citationsFARGO – Forty-five citations were issued today from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on 45th Street over the Interstate 94 bridge by Fargo police on the third day of a traffic safety blitz.
Of the 45 citations, 31 were speed related. Five drivers being cited for seat-belt violations, four were cited for driving under suspension and five were given for miscellaneous violations.
Police planned the blitzes Tuesday, Wednesday and today to help reduce traffic speeds in the area where construction workers are attempting to complete the large construction project. In the three days of traffic blitzes, 113 citations were issued. Of those citations, 83 were speed related.
