Two injured in crash near Fessenden, NDFESSENDEN, N.D. – Two drivers were injured Thursday afternoon when a semi truck crashed into a van in Fessenden on U.S. Highway 52.
The two vehicles were traveling southbound when the van, driven by Christina Sandstrom of Santa Fe, Texas, began to slow.

The semi struck the van’s driver’s side and then went into the ditch and rolled onto its passenger side, a North Dakota Highway Patrol statement said.
Ruud and Sandstrom were transported to a Harvey hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
Ruud was cited with care required in the operation of a motor vehicle.
