UPDATED: Three people, all from Fargo-Moorhead, die in head-on collision north of UlenULEN, Minn. – A third person involved in a two-vehicle crash Thursday north of Ulen, Minn., died after being airlifted to a Fargo hospital.
The Minnesota State Patrol identified all three people this morning:
- Delphine L. Braaten, 76, of Fargo
- Harriet D. Selleys, 65, of Fargo
- Deette K. Tinkler, 39, of Moorhead
Braaten and Selleys, who are sisters, were traveling south in a 1998 Oldsmobile Silhouette van on Minnesota Highway 32. Tinkler, driving a northbound 1996 Dodge Intrepid, crossed the center line, resulting in the crash, according to the State Patrol.
Braaten, the driver of the van, and Selleys, died at the scene. Tinkler later died at the hospital.
Emergency crews responded to the rural Clay County crash - approximately one mile north of Ulen - around 2:10 p.m.
