Tamarac Refuge plan feedback soughtThe U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has released a draft of the Comprehensive Conservation Plan and Environmental Assessment for Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge and Tamarac Wetland Management District for public review and comment.
The draft describes the goals, objectives and strategies, including fish and wildlife habitat protection priorities, partnership opportunities and visitor services, and will serve as a guide through the next 15 years.
An open house will also be held from 6 to 8 p.m. July 20 at the Refuge Visitor Center, 35704 County Highway 26, Rochert, Minn.
