Motorcyclist seriously injured after vehicle runs over him on Hwy 10 east of MoorheadA collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle east of Moorhead early today remains under investigation.
Payam Naderipour, 24, of Fargo, and Michael Nelson, 55, of Dilworth, were traveling westbound on Highway 10 at the intersection of Highway 9, about 10 miles east of Moorhead.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Naderipour, who was driving the motorcycle, passed Nelson in the left lane of the highway. He then returned to the right lane and slowed.
Nelson, who was driving a Pontiac Grand Prix, drove over and onto the motorcycle, the Patrol reported.
Naderipour suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries. Nelson appeared uninjured, the Patrol reported.
