American Legion baseball: D-G-F puts up 30 runs in doubleheader victories

Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton’s Jake Kadrie hit a grand slam home run to highlight an 11-run sixth inning in the second game of a doubleheader in a 22-6 win over New York Mills in Minnesota Lakes Conference American Legion baseball on Thursday.

D-G-F also won the first game 8-0, as starting pitcher Paul Ness (4-1) struck out 10 batters while allowing just one hit.

Jared Hawk went 5-for-7 in the two games for D-G-F (17-5, 12-1 MLC).

D-G-F plays at Hawley at 6:30 p.m. next Tuesday.
