Weekend Watch: Dale Watson
In the world of country music, some artists talk the talk, but Dale Watson has walked the walk.
Since his 1995 debut, “Cheatin’ Heart Attack,” the honky-tonk troubadour has released 19 discs, including “Whiskey or God,” and “Every Song I Write is for You,” composed after his girlfriend died in a car crash. The singer/guitarist also suffered a breakdown, as seen in the documentary “Crazy Again.” He’s back on track with his second volume of “The Truckin’ Sessions” and pulls into The Aquarium, 226 Broadway, Sunday night for an evening of two-steppin’ twang. The music starts at 8 p.m. with Pat Lenertz and Friends. Cover is $10 for this ID-only show. (701) 235-5913.
