Dickinson homeless shelter to closeDICKINSON, N.D. - A homeless shelter in Dickinson is closing at the end of the month.
Michelle Orton, client services director at Community Action Partnership, cites limited funding and fewer staff.
The shelter program that began in 1990 utilizes two motel rooms. It served 42 people last year.
City Administrator Shawn Kessel says the closure will leave a gap in services in the city.
