Fargo police issue 92 tickets during blitzPolice issued 92 tickets during a four-hour traffic blitz Friday morning near Fargo’s 12th Avenue North viaduct.
Officers clocked drivers from the back of a city sanding truck with its lights flashing at 12th Avenue and 18th Street, according to a news release from Sgt. Mike Bernier.
Of the 92 citations issued, 79 were for speeding and seven were for seat-belt violations. One was for driving under suspension, and five were miscellaneous citations.
The blitz lasted from 8 a.m. to noon. Police had announced Thursday that a blitz would be conducted in the area Friday.
