North Dakota Republicans launch Fargo ‘victory office’The North Dakota Republican Party will open its Fargo Victory Center on Wednesday during an event that is set to feature party candidates and special guest former presidential candidate and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.
Romney is visiting the area this week to attend a state party fundraiser tonight near Mapleton.
North Dakota GOP officials said the Fargo office will build on the party’s momentum during this election year. Republicans are energized at the prospect of electing Gov. John Hoeven in the U.S. Senate race and Fargo legislator Rick Berg in the U.S. House Race, they say.
“Our victory office in Fargo is critical to electing (them),” State Republican Party Executive Director Adam Jones said in a statement. “It will be a place for anyone to help lend a hand and elect Republicans across North Dakota.”
A similar office is scheduled to open next month in Grand Forks.
Wednesday’s event is from 8-10 a.m. at the Republicans’ Fargo Victory Center, 1704 Main Ave., Suite 4.
