Wildlife refuge meeting scheduled for Thursday

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. – A public forum to discuss the use of glyphosate tolerant – also referred to as Roundup Ready – corn and soybeans and of farming as a management tool in area wetlands is scheduled from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Prairie Wetlands Learning Center in Fergus Falls.

The meeting will deal with local units of the National Wildlife Refuge System, including Hamden Slough and Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge and Waterfowl Production Areas administrated by the Detroit Lakes Wetland Management District.
