Victim and vehicle identified in Sunday hit-and-runFARGO - Fargo police are looking for the driver of a Ford Bronco that slammed into a car on a downtown street Sunday evening, injuring a 20-year-old Fargo man.
The hit-and-run crash happened at 6:08 p.m. on Second Street North at First Avenue.
Police identified the victim as 20-year-old Garrett Kudra. A MeritCare spokeswoman said Kudra was treated and released.
A black Ford Bronco was southbound on Second Street when it turned left toward Moorhead and hit the driver’s side of the northbound two-door car, which swerved to try to miss the pickup, Sgt. Ross Renner said.
Police found the 1980s model black Ford Bronco this afternoon and have identified it as the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run accident.
The Bronco's driver was described as a dark-skinned, heavy-set male with brown, curly hair, Renner said.
