West Fargo schools need Dave OlsonI have lived in West Fargo for the past 42 years. I have seen the good and bad in this city, and I have seen it change immensely. I truly believe that West Fargo and its school district are at a crossroads.
West Fargo used to be a shining example to the rest of the state of what a great school system should be. In the many community meetings that I have attended talking about the school board, the main focus of the disappointment has been trust. The community has lost trust in the school board. Many of the teachers I have spoken with have lost trust in the school board.
The board needs to regain the trust that is so essential to functioning properly. Hopefully, the first steps have been taken by the hiring of David Flowers. The next step is the election of new school board members.
Dave Olson will help to bring that trust back to the West Fargo School Board, will be fiscally responsible, will help to lead the school district through the building of new schools when necessary and will make sure that new schools are outfitted properly when built.
He is a person who will help bring the school district back to that shining example it should be for the rest of the state.
Please join me in electing Olson to the West Fargo School Board. He will be the change the board needs.
