Police: No suspects yet in weekend stabbing

Fargo police still have no suspects in the multiple stabbing of a 22-year-old man late Saturday.

The stabbing was reported at about 10:35 p.m. when the victim, who has no permanent address, arrived at MeritCare Hospital with approximately a dozen stab wounds, Sgt. Mark Lykken said Tuesday.

The victim told police he had been stabbed around the corner, but police don’t know if that’s true because he was dropped off by a vehicle and couldn’t tell investigators exactly where the stabbing took place, Lykken said.

The victim did not give police a detailed description of his attacker. His injuries were not life-threatening, Lykken said.
