Construction begins on I-29 near MayvilleMAYVILLE, N.D. – Construction work began Tuesday on Interstate 29 from the Mayville exit to one mile north of the Buxton exit.
A five-mile lane closure will reduce traffic in both the northbound and southbound roadway to one lane.
Traffic speeds will be reduced to 40 mph in the work zone and 65 mph throughout the remaining road closure.
The project is expected to take five to six weeks to complete.
