Fargo officers seeking help in dog-bite case

Fargo police are looking for help verifying the vaccination status of a dog that bit a man Saturday morning.

Fargo Police Community Service officers were called to the 1500 block of 17th Avenue South to investigate a complaint of a dog bite.

A 28-year-old Fargo man told officers that a small, tan dog, possibly a poodle, bichon or Lhasa apso, bit him on the right ankle. It was wearing a dark-colored collar. The dog was with a mixed-breed yellow Labrador retriever.
