Smile, you’ve just graduated: A look at the Class of 2010

High school seniors from throughout the Fargo-Moorhead area donned caps and gowns Sunday to celebrate the end of their high school careers and look forward to future possibilities.

While the job outlook may not be as bright as it was for previous graduates, for the class of 2010, this day was filled with a sense of hope and accomplishment.

Graduates spent time looking forward.

“Don’t stop believing in yourself, for each and every one of us has the ability to make a difference in this world,” Levi Bachmeier, West Fargo student body president, said during his commencement speech.

They also took a few moments to look back on the memories they made.

“We were willing to unite until well after midnight to protect our school from dangerous floodwaters,” Bachmeier said.

Cameras flashed and cheers erupted as the graduates crossed the stage to accept their diplomas.

One young man then took the opportunity to pause before the crowd and raise his arms in victory.
