Korean War photos and lectureSaturday
The Korean War is often called “The Forgotten War,” but for the 480,000 American troops who served, it was all too real as more than 36,000 Americans died. One of those to survive, Sgt. 1st Class Tom Akland will show his photographs from the conflict and discuss the war and the history of North Korea and South Korea during a lecture 2 p.m. Saturday at the Fargo Air Museum, 1609 19th Ave. N. (701) 293-8043.
