Concordia loses second game at MIAC tourney

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Concordia won its first game but dropped its second on the first day of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference baseball tournament Friday.

The Cobbers scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to defeat St. John’s 4-3 to open play.

The Cobbers lost to Augsburg 6-1 to put Concordia in the loser’s side of the bracket.

No. 2 seed Concordia faces No. 1 seed St. Thomas at 1 p.m. today in a loser-out game.
