Bresciani candidate for post in California

A candidate for North Dakota State University president interviewed for a vice president position in California on Tuesday.

Dean Bresciani is one of four candidates for vice president of student affairs at San Jose State University.

Bresciani is adjunct professor and former vice president for student affairs at Texas A&M University.

The final two candidates for the San Jose job will interview next week. The university has more than 30,000 students.

Steve Swiontek, chairman of the NDSU search committee, said he talked to Bresciani about his candidacy for the other job.

“The indications were that he still is very interested (in NDSU),” Swiontek said.

Another NDSU president candidate, Gary Miller, is a finalist for the presidency of Missouri State University.
