Weekend Watch: Make a Mother’s Day gift
What to do to show she-who-gave-you-life you really, really, really appreciate all the long days, late nights and early mornings getting you up, getting you fed, getting you ready, then getting you to bed? If you or your child are still looking for just the right Mother’s Day token of appreciation, swing by the Moorhead Library, 118 15th St. S., from 6 to 7 tonight and get some help with a handmade Mother’s Day card. (218) 233-7594. If you can’t make it out tonight, check out Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 1201 42nd St. S., Fargo, at 11 a.m. Saturday. The store also hosts a card-making session with readings of “Bedtime for Mommy,” “Are You My Mother?” and “My Mother is So Smart.” (701) 281-1002. If neither of those dates works for you, get to the Children’s Museum at Yunker Farm on Sunday, Mother’s Day, from 1 to 5 p.m., when kids can make bracelets for their mothers. There is a $4 admission fee for the museum. (701) 232-6102.
