Three MN wrestlers sign NDSU letters of intent

The North Dakota State wrestling program announced the signing of three Minnesota athletes to national letters of intent on Monday.

Tucker Freeman of Jackson, Minn., John Gusewelle of Sauk Centre, Minn. and Kurtis Julson of Inver Grove Heights all signed leters of intent to wrestle for NDSU head coach Bucky Maughan beginning in the 2010-11 school year.

Freeman is a three-time Minnesota State place winner and went 28-5 his senior year at Jackson County Central High School.

Gusewelle placed third at the Minnesota State championships as a junior and senior and compiled a 104-55 record at Sauk Centre High School.

Julson, a four-year letter winner at Simley High school, won a Minnesota State title his senior year going 44-3 and finishing

121-24 in his career.
