Power lines damaged in Abercrombie crashABERCROMBIE, N.D. – Some residents in Abercrombie and Kent were without power today after an early morning crash took out electric and phone lines.
The crane of a Northland Truss vehicle driven by Sean Sullivan, 47, of Walcott, struck power lines and damaged three poles at the intersection of First Street East and First Avenue East in Abercrombie.
Power was restored to most residents, according to OtterTail Power Company.
Damages are expected to exceed $10,000, the Richland County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
Sullivan was not cited in the accident.
