College softball: Cobbers thump Carleton in MIAC twinbill

Concordia’s Kesley Jones won both ends of a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletics Conference softball doubleheader over Carleton College on Monday, with scores of 6-5 and 14-6.

Jones (6-12) threw the final 1+ innings of Game 1 and a complete game in Game 2 to pick up the wins.

Concordia Right fielder Kelly Tasky went 6-for-9 with a double and five RBIs on the day. First baseman Kaia Sele went 5-for-8 with a triple, home run and four RBIs.
