College softball: Cobbers split a pair of games with Hamline

Concordia scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning of Game 1 and held on for a 6-5 win over Hamline, but fell 7-4 to the Pipers in the second game of a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader on Sunday.

Kesley Jones went 3-for-4 with a home run for the Cobbers (9-28, 6-14 MIAC) in Game 1. Jones also pitched a scoreless two-thirds of an inning to earn a save.
