College softball: Cobbers split MIAC doubleheader with St. Kate’s

ST. PAUL, Minn. – St. Catherine scored nine runs in the second inning and held on to beat Concordia College 9-6 in college softball on Thursday.

Kayla Bergerson pitched a complete game for St. Catherine and recorded three hits.

Maddie Haroldson led Concordia with three hits and two runs scored. Kelsey Jones belted out a home run and batted in three runs.

In the second game, Nikki Clouse scored the winning run on a RBI single from Kaia Sele in the ninth inning as Concordia beat St. Catherine 4-3 in nine innings.

Jones went 2-for-5 with a home run.
