Two people arrested in night robberiesFargo police arrested two people Saturday in connection with a pair of armed robberies in which a knife was used.
In one case, a man told police he was approached by a male in the 3400 block of 31st Avenue South about 1:32 a.m. Saturday.
The suspect put a knife to the victim’s stomach and demanded his wallet and cell phone. After he was given the items, the assailant fled with an unknown female.
Around 4 a.m. Saturday, another man reported to police that about an hour prior he was sitting in a car talking to a female when a man entered the vehicle, put a knife to his throat and demanded his wallet.
The man told police he got away and later returned to get his vehicle. Nothing was taken from the victim.
About 10:46 a.m. Saturday, police executed a search warrant at an apartment unit at 2701 32nd Ave. S. in Fargo.
Officers recovered stolen property and arrested a man identified by police as Victor Garcia on suspicion of robbery, terrorizing, aggravated assault and possession of stolen property. Police also arrested a woman identified as Samantha Rebold on suspicion of robbery and aggravated assault.
