I-94 lane closures slated in MinnesotaThe Minnesota Department of Transportation has announced planned lane closures going both directions on Interstate 94 between Downer and Highway 336 beginning Wednesday.
There will be a two-mile left-lane closure at the Clay County Highway 10 and Downer junction in both directions.
There will be a one-mile left-lane closure at the Highway 336 junction also going in both directions.
The lane closures will allow crews to build crossovers across the median in preparation for a concrete overlay project on the westbound lanes.
Following the crossover construction, all traffic will be shifted to the eastbound lanes while crews resurface the roadway and shoulders of the westbound lane.
The project is scheduled to be completed by late July, weather permitting.
