Red River falls to minor flood stage in Fargo

The Red River receded to minor flood stage Thursday morning, with a level of 24.59 feet as of mid-afternoon.

The National Weather Service’s seven-day forecast predicts the river will fall to 20.9 feet in a week. The threshold for minor flood stage is 18 feet.

This spring’s flood, the seventh highest recorded, reached 36.99 feet.
