Moorhead survey to grade flood fightMore than 1,000 Moorhead households are being asked to participate in an online survey that asks residents how satisfied they were with the way the city handled the 2010 flood.
The survey, which is being conducted primarily online, asks targeted residents if they used city services or help during the flood and how satisfied they were with new strategies used this year, including the use of pre-filled sandbags and the implementation of a zone system that placed city staff in specific neighborhoods to help with dike building.
The city will provide paper questionnaires to households that don’t want to participate online.
Residents have until April 8 to complete the survey. The city expects results to be released by mid-April.
