Flood 2009: March 30
There were concerns of how the raging winds might rattle the sandbag levees that now lined the rivers.
Residents were urged to stay home. It was the right thing to do, but it was also starting to take its toll on area businesses.
Still, everyone was in the same boat.
And so residents continued to stay vigilant.
They waited. They watched. They continued to pray.
