Woman cited for DUI after crash in FargoA woman was cited for driving under the influence after she crashed her car Friday into a concrete wall on the 25th Street South exit ramp from Interstate 94 in Fargo, the North Dakota Highway Patrol reported.
Catherine Stock, 50, Fargo, suffered minor injuries in the crash, which took place about 8:09 p.m., the patrol reported.
The incident started with a report of a black Kia car being driven by a possible drunken or reckless driver. The reporting party stayed on the line as the Kia drove erratically westbound on I-94, the patrol reported.
The Kia then took the 25th Street South exit. As it went around a curve at the top of the ramp, it drove off the road and into a concrete wall that protects a walking and bicycling path, the patrol reported.
Stock was extricated by Fargo Fire and Rescue and taken by F-M Ambulance to Fargo’s Innovis Health, where she was treated for minor injuries, the patrol reported.
Stock’s car had severe front-end damage. The road was dry, and the weather clear and windy, the patrol reported.
