Dalrymple leading trade trip to ChinaBISMARCK – Lt. Gov. Jack Dalrymple and members of the North Dakota Trade Office have left on a trade mission to Indonesia and China.
The delegation includes Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring, Commerce Commissioner Shane Goettle and business and education leaders.
Growth in U.S. exports to China is averaging 10 percent a year, making China one of the fastest-growing foreign markets for U.S. goods. According to the U.S. Commercial Service, the value of North Dakota’s exports to China reached about $19 million last year, a 50 percent increase since 2005.
