Fargo's Oak Grove high school cancels classes Monday due to high flood levelMiddle and high school students at Oak Grove Lutheran School won’t have class on Monday due to flood levels.
It’s the school’s policy to evacuate the campus and not hold classes once the river reaches 36 feet or higher.
With the river at 37 feet, school officials decided classes at the north Fargo campus, which is surrounded by the Red River, won’t be held Monday.
Classes at their elementary school in south Fargo will continue as normal and classes for grades six through 12 are expected to resume again on Tuesday.
The school is still maintaining 24-hour dike patrols tonight and will con-tinue to do so until the river levels recede.
