NCAA HOCKEY PLAYOFFS: UND to take on Yale; Bemidji St. to take on Michigan

The University of North Dakota men's hockey team will play Yale at 4 p.m. Saturday in Worcester, Mass. in the first round of the NCAA playoffs.

The Fighting Sioux are the No. 2 seed in the Northeast Regional. Boston College got the No. 1 seed and will play Alaska-Fairbanks at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

The winners of both games will meet at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

Both ESPN analysts during Sunday morning's selection show picked UND to be in the Frozen Four April 8-10 in Detroit.

Bemidji State University will play Michigan at 6:30 p.m. in the Midwest Regional in Fort Wayne, Ind. The winner will play either Miami or Alabama-Huntsville on Sunday.
