Pro golf: Fargo’s Dave Schultz finishes tied for 15thBOGOTA, Colombia – Fargo’s Dave Schultz finished tied for 15th place after carding an even-par 71 on Sunday at the Pacific Rubiales Bogota Open on the professional golf Nationwide Tour.
Schultz finished six shots behind winner Steve Pate, who also carded a 71 on Sunday on his way to an 11-under par, four-day total of 273.
Pate’s winner’s share was $108,000, while Schultz earned $9,900 for his finish. Schultz has earned $13,620 this season after two paydays, which ranks him 48th on the tour’s money list.
The top 25 money earners during the Nationwide Tour season earn their PGA Tour cards for the following year. Schultz placed 33rd last season with just under $160,000, while only playing in 18 events.
