Cramer an exceptional candidate for House

As a politically active college student, I am excited as I look ahead to November’s congressional elections and I see the voters’ potential to impact our country’s current “course.”

On the statewide level, the nomination of strong, conservative candidates represents an important part of our political process. I am wholeheartedly backing Republican candidate Kevin Cramer in his campaign against incumbent Rep. Earl Pomeroy, D-N.D. Cramer, longtime North Dakota Public Service commissioner, has repeatedly demonstrated wise leadership on issues of general policy and energy independence, helping to make North Dakota a national leader in energy production.

Another quality for which I deeply respect Cramer is his dedication to conservative values, the U.S. Constitution, and especially to voters. Having met with Cramer and attended “Coffee with Cramer,” I have witnessed his humble demeanor and balanced approach to campaigning. Clearly, he recognizes his responsibility to voters and understands to whom he is rightly accountable. Further, he pledges to hold a large number of town hall meetings within his first congressional term, if he should be elected. (As we know, current elected officials have grossly failed in that respect!)

In anticipation of the upcoming Republican convention and the November election, I ask North Dakotans to join me in supporting an exceptional conservative candidate for U.S. Congress: Kevin Cramer.
