Incident in parking lot reinforces faith in youthLast Saturday night (Feb. 20), trying to leave the parking lot after a movie, a young man backed into the side of my pickup. I am sorry to say that I was immediately filled with rage. As I reached the other vehicle, I had calmed down and I also found a better man than myself. A student, a junior at Fargo South, was honestly sorry while being both respectful and contrite. His behavior, his attitude convinced me that he and those like him will make good citizens and maybe great future leaders for our country.
His parents should be proud of their young man. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. This young man and those like him will do a good job when they move into leadership of our nation.
