Fargo School Board OKs zoning requestThe Fargo School District is gearing up to sell Woodrow Wilson, the north Fargo school that currently houses the district’s alternative high school.
On Tuesday, the School Board unanimously approved the city of Fargo’s recommendation to rezone the building from public institutional to mixed-use zoning, which is what most of the property surrounding the school on University Drive North is zoned.
The alternative high school program is being relocated to Agassiz School, which currently houses South Campus II, in the summer of 2011.
The district will now go to the city’s next planning commission meeting to get approval.
